Your greatness is not in what you have, but in what you give back.
It’s December 1. The holiday season is officially upon us. This year I find myself not making to do lists, but finding ways I can give back. This is my second year of Craftvent. Yes, last year’s project is still uncompleted. (Hey, I’m making progress on MM19 so it’s not surprising this isn’t completed. It looks like I made it to day 19 last year.) I’m a sucker for a good KAL. Jimmy Beans is one of my online yarn suppliers. In December, they are sponsoring a wish. Yes, your raffle ticket gets one a chance for more yarn. It also helps bring a wish closer to reality.
Day 1 included stitch markers and some wool wash. Exciting! What will Day 2 hold? I suspect yarn, but one never knows.
This year, the British Hubby was bummed we are leaving the traditional chocolate advent calendar behind. We’ve made great progress on our weight loss efforts and a month of chocolates and holidays treats would disrupt our efforts. Instead, we’re trying a new to us Tea Advent Calendar. The one pictured above is from Adagio Tea.
Gracie says, “Welcome to December.”
