The Bread of Life

Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory.

Life is full of ups and downs. This week an important person from my childhood passed away. Services were in the Midwest, and unfortunately, I wasn’t able to make it there in time. To compound matters even more, the British Hubby had to travel for work. It’s just me and the kitties for this week’s celebration of life. I’m celebrating with a pot of tea and a fresh loaf of bread. I’ll admit we’re not feeling much like celebrating this weekend, but it seems that much more important that I do.

It’s hard not to smile when using such a cute tea cozy.

This is Gracie’s idea of being supportive. This week was Valentine’s Day. Normally, I think this is a commercial holiday, but it’s a great day to make some one feel special even if it’s just a post it note to say you care. Have a fantastic weekend!

P.S. Finished projects to come I promise. Well, and maybe some more bread.
