The best journeys answer questions that in the beginning you didn’t even think to ask.
This past weekend, the British Hubby and I took our longest journey yet on Ulysses. In one day we rode over 150 miles. We had lunch at a quaint little town called La Conner. The had a monument to honor the town dog.
It was so cute! Maybe I should get statues for the kitties? Next we went up one of Washington’s most scenic roads. It was full of twists and turns and vista points with stunning views.
Then we took a tiny ferry that only held 15 cars. Our destination was Lummi Island. It’s so small, it doesn’t even have a gas station.
This was our sunset view from our deck.
I suspect this is how the kitties spent the weekend.
Hope you had a fantastic weekend and your week is off to a great start!
