Meandering on Ulysess

The best journeys answer questions that in the beginning you didn’t even think to ask.

This past weekend, the British Hubby and I took our longest journey yet on Ulysses. In one day we rode over 150 miles. IMG_20180901_1507453We had lunch at a quaint little town called La Conner. The had a monument to honor the town dog.

It was so cute! Maybe I should get statues for the kitties? IMG_20180901_1606158Next we went up one of Washington’s most scenic roads. It was full of twists and turns and vista points with stunning views. IMG_20180901_1747407Then we took a tiny ferry that only held 15 cars. Our destination was Lummi Island. It’s so small, it doesn’t even have a gas station. IMG_20180901_1938484This was our sunset view from our deck.005I suspect this is how the kitties spent the weekend.

Hope you had a fantastic weekend and your week is off to a great start!
