The Last Frank Stripe

To get through the hardest journey we need take only one step at a time, but we must keep on stepping. ~ Chinese Proverbs

The sun is shining, and I just finished my last Frank Stripe on my Frank in Paris scarf. Now I have 40 regular rows to go before the border. This scarf was a “keep on knitting” type of scarf. The pattern was easy to memorize, but it would have been rather boring without stripes to break up the monotony. Now it’s a daring game of yarn chicken to see if I have enough Paris Night to finish.

Update on Feb-blue-ary & other wips:

  • Blue Banana: I was finally able to knit on this. I have 34 rows done in section two.
  • Frank in Paris: I’m working towards the border. Woot Woot!
  • Dewberry Dancer: 24 out of 36 rows completed in section three.

Loaf number four is a salsa bread. It’s interesting and very flavorful. I had to adjust my view on the Cranberry Orange Loaf. Toasted with whipped Greek cream cheese and a cup of tea this bread is delightful.

Burt seems to be the most upset with the British Hubby traveling. I don’t blame him, I miss the British hubby too. I’ve tried to play with him more and give him extra brushes, but sleeping on my bathrobe is what comforts him the most.
