Be yourself; everyone else is already taken. ~ Oscar Wilde
It’s the final 36 hours before TDS starts! Can you feel the tension? I think the pattern drops at 4:00 a.m. here in the PNW. I’m excited, but not quite excited enough to get up that early. Sometime on Saturday morning, I’ll download the pattern and decide if I like enough to cast on. I even have the first project bag lined up. A few weeks ago, I took advantage of a sale at Slip Stitch Studios. The bags are well made and often use fabrics I’ve never seen before. LOTR is one of my favorite movie trilogies. I watch it at least once every year. Pictured below is the two skein bag. It’s perfect for a project, phone and wallet. I see adventures in Ulysses in this bag’s future.
I’m making progress on my sock preparations for TDS. Below is a progress photo of just the sock number twos! Two are very close to being finished and two still have quite a bit of knitting left, but at least all of them are on the second sock. I know, you’re thinking I could probably finish all four pairs of socks I have started if I didn’t participate in TDS, but where’s the fun in that?
Gracie is pretending not to notice I just snapped her photo. She’s plotting how to kill me in my sleep.
