Some days, I miss living in rural Midwest. When I found the Betty McDonald Farm, I thought it would be a great place to stay on Vashon Island. I wasn’t disappointed. It was so quaint and charming. It reminded me of my grandma’s house when I was little.

The inside is just as cute as the outside.

I was pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen had an electric tea kettle, tea set and tea!

The back garden was a delight. I think the views were the most stunning part. Just when I thought the view couldn’t get any better, the sunset.
