Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. ~ Helen Keller
It’s March 4 and I have four new projects for Malabrigo March so far. My plan to only knit from stash has been tossed out the window. I have fallen head over heels in love with the new Malabrigo base Washted. Especially the new colorway Heirloom Vegetables. They’re in the middle below.

Here’s my Malabrigo March List:
- Washted Thermals – My first ever project using the new base.
- Teal Feather Gluhwein – Last March was one of the warmest on record. This March is shaping up to be one of the coldest. I need another bulky weight cowl.
- Cian Nine – I’m a sucker for a good cable hat especially using my beloved Malabrigo.
- Aniversario Rye – Rye is one of my favorite sock patterns and Washted is my new favorite base. A perfect match! Not to mention I’m leading a KAL if you want to join in the fun.

Lovely group shot of my projects so far. There are at least three more planned projects I expect to cast on this month. I’ll update everyone on my progress next week. Let’s see how many projects I end up casting on this month. I know what you’re thinking. What are the chances I stick with just those three new projects? It is The Year of the Tart, after all.

Burt loves winding yarn. Malabrigo March is his favorite month!
How fun! I bought a skein of Malabrigo in your honor. Maybe I will join your KAL!
Heirloom Vegetables really is gorgeous.
