One of the online yarn retailers I frequent, does a deep discount sale that rotates every two hours or when the product sells out. I like to check it out from time to time just to see what’s on sale. A few weeks ago, I saw this and it made me laugh. Now I giggle every time I go to the loo.
Here’s another almost finished Orphan taking a bubble bath. Is it my Citron Grand? Is it Oceans of Malabrigo? Or maybe it’s something I haven’t even mentioned! Okay, you should be able to figure it out. It’s not hiding very well.
While I was giving my Orphan a soak, I did some kitchener stitch. And then, I did some more kitchener stitch. British Hubby and I both have one finished Rye sock. On the left is Malabrigo Rios in Vaa for British Hubby. On the right, is the Mecha Rye for me. I’m working on the gusset decreases for the Mecha sock number two.
I love knitting socks. It’s a portable project that can easily be condensed for travel. You can make them in any weight for any season. Did I mention how amazing they feel on your feet? Store bought socks can’t compete. Maybe I should knit some for the kitties. I think that’s why Gracie is giving me the cold shoulder in this photo. She wants some kitty socks.
