Cock your hat – angles are attitudes. ~ Frank Sinatra
It’s rather chilly out now in the PNW. A knitted hat is the perfect way to combat the cold weather. It’s also a great way to accessorize. In 2016, I made nine aviatrix hats. This is the most I’ve done in a given year so far. Below are the last two aviatrix hats this year (don’t worry there will be more in 2017) and the fourth mi. This is part of a matching Milo – Aviatrix combo set. The milo and toddler aviatrix hat are done in Malabrigo Rios color Fresco y Seco. The six month size aviatrix hat is the same color way in Arroyo. This is yet another gift for an expecting mom. The set makes finished wips three, four and five!
Update on other wips:
- Frank in Pairs: Found my missing project! It was hanging out with the other wips. It’s back in rotation.
- Dewberry Dancer: Just finished row 37 on section two.
- Project Peace: I’m moving slow on this one. I’m on row three of the first round. Only about 80 more rounds to go. I’m not sure how I thought I could knit a cowl in 21 days.
Here’s a close up of Ernie and I snuggling!
Here’s a photo from another favorite hike in the Olympic National Park.
Five finished projects. Three more to finish. Maybe I’ll get a bonus one completed.
I’m only on the 7th pattern repeat of my Peace Cowl with less and less time I can spend on it, but trying to make it happen anyway! Don’t feel like you are too far behind, we’ll keep supporting you on it! 😀 I’m glad you found your MIA WIP!

Thanks, Kate. I’m not too stressed about the cowl other than I had planned for it to be a holiday gift. I’ll have to rethink that plan, but I can always use it next year.
