Lazy Sundays & Snow Flurries

Sunday clears away the rust of the whole week.

All weekend long we’ve have snow flurries and a slushy rain. That means it’s pretty chilly outside. The kitties only want to snuggle, and Ernie’s back to sitting on the vents (yes, he’s a four legged static machine). Sadly, the British Hubby caught a nasty cold traveling back to the PNW. We spent this weekend watching a few Oscar Nominations, keeping the kitties warm and knitting. This gave me a chance to finish orphan wip number five for February. Presenting my KC and the Sunshine Band version of Rye socks in Rios Sunset. I can’t help but smile when I wear these.

Update on Feb-blue-ary & other wips:

  • Blue Banana: I started section three. I have three rows completed.
  • Frank in Paris: Sad news on this one. I ran out of Paris yarn. More yarn is on the way, but probably not in time for Feb-Blue-ary.
  • Dewberry Dancer: 32 out of 36 rows in section three completed. My goal this month was to complete section three. I might just manage to make it to the border.

Two days left and three more projects to complete. Will I make it? Stay tuned.
