Whoever wants to reach a distant goal must take many small steps. ~ Helmut Schmidt
This weekend, the British Hubby and I were like millions of viewers binge watching Stranger Things 2. October is horror/scary movie month at our house so taking a break for the new season fit right in with the Halloween theme. It also gave me quite a bit of knitting time to finish another wip! Here’s the third completed project for October. Presenting my Shark Bait II socks. Now the British Hubby will have Jaws themed socks for our next July 4 celebration. During July and August, I cast on more socks than I really should have especially when I’m attempting to work down my wips. One pair down, just five more to go.
Sock Update:
- Junkie U: I’m working on the heel for sock two.
- TDS 5.2.17: Cuff of sock two is completed.
- Watermelon: The leg of sock one now has five inches. Just two more to go before I start the heel.
- TDS 5.5.17: I’m chugging along on chart 1 for the leg of sock one. This is 18 rows in. The cable pattern is looking lovely.
I also had time to warp my loom for my next project. Burt couldn’t decide which end was more exciting.
Three days left until November. Do I have time to get one more project finished?
