Mystery and Intrigue in Knitting: Clue 2

The final mystery is oneself. ~ Oscar Wilde

2018 is the year of Mystery, Intrigue and World Domination. I’ve interpreted this theme to challenge myself and stretch outside my comfort zone in all areas of my life. At the day job, I’m trying to think of challenges as growth opportunities (this one is a continual challenge). In my personal life, I’ve started doing hot yoga. I actually enjoy sweating from every pore on my body. In my crafting life, I’m taking a 10 month knitting class and I’ve started a mystery knit along (MKAL). The MKAL is completely out of my comfort zone. I’ve never started a project with no idea what it will look like when I finish it. I’ve even managed not to look at any spoilers. 003I finished Clue 2. I like how the colors look together and the gathered stitches are creating an interesting texture. I’m uncertain if I’m going to like the finished shawl, but I’m going to keep on knitting. I think clue 3 is going in a completely different direction. 002Ernie is trying to dominate the world via sleeping next to my knitting. I think he’s off to a good start. 007
