It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade. ~ Charles Dickens
March is over half way over. Normally, I would have about 10 new projects cast on for Malabrigo March. This year I took a slightly different approach. I’m slowly but surely making progress on some non Malabrigo projects. That is typically taboo for me this month, but I didn’t want to lose steam on a few wips. So far, I have three new projects started and two swatches for sweaters (I know I never swatch). We’ll see if I get to the sweaters. For some reason, casting on a bunch of projects just seemed too daunting. It could be my allergy brain just can’t handle too new many projects this month. Above is a progress photo of my Mecha Mania hat. I’m hopeful I may actually get this one finished this month.
The poor kitties have had some kitty virus/flu. It started with Ernie. Then the British Hubby caught a cold. Now Burt and Gracie have it. We’ve spent the past few days scrubbing litter boxes and food bowls. They’ve spent their days sleeping.
Fingers crossed, we’re all healthy next week. We might have time to get a hike or ride in.
