There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: music and cats. ~ Albert Schweitzer
This afternoon we dropped Ernie of at the Feline Hyperthyroid Center. It’s a cat only facility. I like dogs and cats equally, but it does make a difference for kitties to attend feline only treatment centers. They aren’t like dogs. They don’t like to ride in the car. Just arriving at an appointment is stressful for most cats. And some cats don’t even like to meet new people. Fortunately, Ernie loves making new friends. Once he was able to get out of the car and sit watching the birds, he calmed down immediately. Bird watching is his favorite hobby. He was even happier to explore the treatment room. And meet his new humans for the next few days.
The British Hubby and I splurged on some carbs. We couldn’t resist stress eating a little with Ernie getting radioactive. I still have an imagine in my mind of him glowing.
My day job has some amazingly wonderful people. They made Ernie and I a get well card with photos from the blog. It was full of well wishes and words of encouragemet. I’m sure going to miss our nightly snuggles.
Burt’s helping me with a little cuddling.
<3! Fingers crossed that it's a stay on the SHORT end of the spectrum and you get your boy back soon!!
