Jobs fill your pockets, but adventure fills your soul.
My day job keeps me crazy busy this time of year. That makes it difficult for the British Hubby and I to get in any outdoor adventures. We were long over due for a Ulysses escape. The night before I started a new knit. 1500 yards of Adventure Knitting is the first project from my Western Yarn Crawl Adventures. The pattern is Fade from Interpretations vol. 1. This is going to be a bit of a marathon knit. Section one is all stockinette. That makes it perfect for traveling.
We stopped at Cama Beach which houses the center for wooden boats.
We saw some interesting driftwood.
And had a chance to knit.
We sampled the Island’s cheeseburgers and sweet potato fries.
We also found some portobello mushroom fries. These were amazing.
The kitties were watching birdies while we were gone. I’m not sure they missed us much.
