Escape to Camano Island

Jobs fill your pockets, but adventure fills your soul.

My day job keeps me crazy busy this time of year. That makes it difficult for the British Hubby and I to get in any outdoor adventures. We were long over due for a Ulysses escape. 003The night before I started a new knit. 1500 yards of Adventure Knitting is the first project from my Western Yarn Crawl Adventures. The pattern is Fade from Interpretations vol. 1. This is going to be a bit of a marathon knit. Section one is all stockinette. That makes it perfect for traveling. IMG_20180526_1457007We stopped at Cama Beach which houses the center for wooden boats. IMG_20180526_1507042We saw some interesting driftwood. IMG_20180526_1445262 (1)And had a chance to knit. IMG_20180526_1901099We sampled the Island’s cheeseburgers and sweet potato fries. IMG_20180526_1900124We also found some portobello mushroom fries. These were amazing. IMG_20180519_1748516The kitties were watching birdies while we were gone. I’m not sure they missed us much.
