July 4th is Independence Day in the States. Over my morning tea, I contemplated dumping all that tea into the Boston harbor. It made me a little sad to think of all that tea wasted. Our Jaws mugs are travelling with us this week on our Ulysses adventure. I’ve also been using this amazing travel tea kettle. It is collapsible and fits in my purse. Brilliant! No more wondering if our lodging will provide a tea kettle. Viewing Jaws is our July 4th tradition. We’re ready with the movie, t-shirts and gummy treats. Even our journey into town was exciting. That’s right, we ran out of fuel. This was our first journey through the mountains. We didn’t factor just how much extra gas going up hill would consume. Fortunately, we carry an extra tank and funnel just for those times one needs to fill up on the side of the road. Check out this lovely view from the gas station. If you are celebrating Independence Day today or England’s big victory in World Cup play, stay safe and watch out for sharks.
