There are no shortcuts to any place worth going. ~Beverly Sills
The PNW is having a record breaking hot summer. This makes hiking and outdoor activities challenging. On Sunday, the British Hubby and I went for a mild hike. Okay, the British Hubby said it was a stroll. Weather you’re hiking or strolling in the heat, you need to take warm weather precautions. Hat, sunscreen, plenty of water and if you’re lucky find a path with plenty of shade. The trail was lovely with all the green, but it was still hot.
When I was doing some research, I saw a bridge on the map, but I had no idea it would be so high up. This photo doesn’t portray just how far off the ground we are.
The benefit from being this high up is the view.
