To appreciate the beauty of a snowflake, it is necessary to stand out in the cold. ~ Aristotle
Historically, the first week in February has had snow the past several years. When I see snow in the forecast, it could mean we’re going to be housebound and snowed in or it could just be flurries. This was yesterday afternoon. The forecast was still chance of snow flurries.
As the day progressed, the forecast upgraded to an accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. This was right before bedtime. I think it was already more than three inches.
I woke up to a winter storm warning. Traveling in vehicles is for emergencies only. It’s still snowing, and the we have around 10 inches so far. This is the most the British Hubby and I have seen at any house we’ve lived at together.
The birds were out so Ernie thought he should check out this white stuff too.
Ernie decided a snow day is better spent snuggling.

In between snuggles and knitting, I made a pan of fudgy flax brownies.
We have more snow in the forecast this week. Maybe this will be a short week at the day job.

Hope your week is off to a great start.
