The British Hubby and I love a good B movie or cult classic. After a long work week, it’s our way of unwinding and celebrating the start of the weekend. This week, we decided to continue on with the 70’s version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

This was just the right blend of new story with scenes from the original movie yet still being incredibly creepy and disturbing. They even tried to infiltrate the pets!

Watching people be born from life sized pods, was no normal walk in the park. Next time we hike, I’m going to be on the look out for these plants.

If you haven’t seen this movie yet, it’s worth watching, but maybe in the daylight with a good friend. It was rather creepy.

This week I’ve had a serious taco craving. The British Hubby bought me some beef smiley appetizers. I know these are a terribly processed nonfood, but man do my taste buds enjoy them. Good thing I don’t eat them very often. We couldn’t resist making some taco faces for a little Friday night fun.

I’m trying another new cider, basil mint. It has an odd after taste. I guess that’s the mint or maybe the basil. This reminds me a bit more of a sparkling wine than a cider. I haven’t decided if I like it yet.

I think it’s safe to say Ernie hasn’t been cat snatched. He’s up to his usually tarty self.
