The End of May

True peace is not the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice. ~ Martin Luther King Jr.

Wow, what an end to the month of May. 2020 was already a year no one would forget. May was no exception. I’ve debated on talking about this weekend’s events, but sometimes staying silent is louder than any words I could type. In many ways, I’m still processing all the events and my own emotions. If you see something, say something. Hate has no home here. I full support the right to peaceful protests and freedom of speech, but violence has no place nor does it solve anything. It’s easy to blame others for our problems, but that doesn’t make our problems go away. We should celebrate our differences.

Body language - Hugging

My heart goes out to the families and communities impacted by the senseless killings and the businesses destroyed in the riots and looting. Now more than ever we need to be compassionate to each other and stand up for change.

Virtual hugs to all my followers.
