The undertaking of a new action brings new strength. ~ Richard L. Evans
Over the weekend, I realized I’m about to hit the two decade mark for being a knitter. It won’t be long before I’ve been knitting longer than I haven’t been knitting. I never stop to ponder how my body is getting older with every passing day, week and year until I think about how long I’ve been participating in certain activities. Like how long the kitties have been with us or how long the British Hubby and I have been a couple. (It’s a long time since we meet in our teens, but didn’t tie the knot for almost a decade later.)

When I first started knitting, I never dreamed I would be making colorwork Halloween fingerless mitts like my Haunted Handwarmers. Moment of truth here, my second project ever was a fun fur scarf for myself. I then went on to make them for everyone I knew. Sparkles and fun fur have their place, but I’m certainly glad I my knitting tastes have expanded.

Day 12 is a surprise! This means I will unveil the last package this week!!

SkeinHerder’s Songs: Today I’ve mostly been listening to The Ultimate Classic fm album. It’s perfect for a cold rainy day in the PNW. It’s a perfect companion with my pot of tea to accomplish my Monday work tasks.
I learned how to knit in middle school, though I took a long break from it and yeah, I think I made a fun fur scarf for everyone I knew lol
