It’s the tale end of the weekend. We’ve been celebrating life with cake and bubbly. This is the British Hubby’s favorite cake, tuxedo cake, from our local grocery store. We don’t often treat ourselves to this so it felt like a very special weekend indeed.

Here’s a progress shot of my Malabrigo Bon Bon mittens.  These are my first mittens. I hope to have them finished soon. The mornings are still chilly here in the PNW. I think I could still get a little bit of use out of them before summer.
