The snow doesn’t give a soft white damn whom it touches. ~ E.E. Cummings
Winter is still refusing to make way for Spring here in the PNW.
This is what I woke up to this morning. Our backyard weather station was reading lows in the mid twenties, but it felt like 17 degrees Fahrenheit. I’m trying to remind myself this cold weather will make a great contrast for when Spring finally arrives.
I’m not being that successful so instead I’m going to share with you our Saturday Ulysses adventures when we were on Vashon Island.
First we stopped at a view point to discover grass would grow any place.
Then we looked for octopuses and other marine life. We didn’t find any, but we did see a knitted hat, my Blue Mashed Potato Molly.
Next, we traveled to a light house with an amazing view.
On our way back to the farm, we came across a knitting art exhibit. Ernie’s enjoying the cold temperatures. It means more snuggle time. Maybe this weekend, I’ll have a finished wip for February or maybe not.
