You know the day destroys the night
Night divides the day
Tried to run
Tried to hide
Break on through to the other side
Break on through to the other side
Break on through to the other side, yeah

I was scrolling through my July posts trying to decide on a topic for today’s post when I realized with all the World Cup and TDS excitement I never finished talking about our July 4th adventure. Traveling means I’m limited by space on how many knitting projects I can bring. This means one or two projects will get quite a bit completed. My 1500 yards of Adventure Knitting was the lucky travel project. I was so very excited when I started to see the next color break through the grey.
You maybe wondering what the white fury back drop is in this photo. It reminds me of a Yeti or Abominable Snowman fur. Apparently, fax fur is popular decor for vacation getaways. Remember the rug at the Sea Mist Inn? I almost lost my toes in that rug. I was a little worried I might lose my knitting in that Yeti fur. Check out these cute salt and pepper shakers. That’s right they’re sheep wearing scarves. (I might be looking for these for my own home.)
While we were away, the kitties learned to eat from timed feeders. Burt bit his trying to release the food.
