Only when one is connected to one’s own core is one connected
to others, I am beginning to discover. And, for me, the core,
the inner spring, can best be refound through solitude.
– Anne Morrow Lindbergh
When I woke up this morning, I felt about like I was a 6 year old. Yes, I woke up exceptionally early for a non work day. And yes, my first thought was, “I wonder what is in drawer number two!” I managed to wait until about 6:30 am to rise from bed without disturbing the British Hubby. I suspect he would not be surprised why I rose so early. Burt was already meowing for breakfast so maybe I could play it off that Burt woke me up. (No one believes that I know.)

Clue # 2 was about tools. Not knowing exactly how this worked, I already bought a pair of needles. Okay, maybe I didn’t read the fine print when I made my online purchase and didn’t realize Craftvent was more than just yarn. (Oh man, I sort of hope there’s some chocolate in one drawer or maybe tea and tea biscuit.)

This 4.00 mm circular needle is unique to any other I own. It’s holiday colored and is done in one inch segments. Not only can I knit with it, but I can also use it to measure. Now that’s pretty handy.

Gracie is excited to see the tree out. To her, it’s a giant chew toy. One year, she’s going to do an impression of the Griswold’s family cat.
Day 3 has to contain yarn, right?
Maybe day 3 contains chocolate in the shape of a yarn ball!
