The word craftvent implies crafting. Logically, I know that. For some reason I thought there would be more knitting related surprises in the drawers. Instead, it seems like it’s mostly yarn so far. Making this a slightly fancier mystery knit along than any other kals I’ve done previously. Good thing I bought a chocolate advent calendar for some chocolaty treats. What am I going to do about that dehydrated cat? I can only hope that the British Hubby has snuck in a few surprises for a cat lover like these found here. I’m particularly fond of those cat butt magnets. 

I’ve completed the knitting through day 6. You can see the pattern emerging. Lace with garter rows to break-up each new yarn. I’m not normally a fan of sampler type knits. I guess that’s what happens when I impulse buy kits while stressed at the day job. 

Can you guess the contents for clue #7? That’s right, yarn. I can tell you’re shocked and surprised. You were probably counting on a dehydrated cat like me. 

I guess I’ll just have to settle for tons of holiday cat photos. I know the kitties hate it, but it makes my heart sing.
