Friday nights the British Hubby and I celebrate surviving the work week. The next movie on our list is Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II. We’re into movies produces in the 1990’s so special effects are starting to play a bigger role. This movie still had models being destroyed. The Japanese government has created G-Force, an agency dedicated to developing warning systems for a Godzilla attack, the study of Godzilla and of course tech to defeat him. Thus the creation of Mechagodzilla II. Mechagodzilla II can fly and is diamond coated. Doesn’t he look tarty?

He can also create a tarty force field that is immune to Godzilla’s atomic ray.

Mechagodzilla is very impressive. How will Godzilla survive?

Look how cute Baby is.

We see a new Godzilla like species. It’s half Godzilla and half Rodan. I’ll overlook how a large reptile breeds with a pterodactyl. Perhaps since they’re both reptiles?

Since Baby is half Godzilla and half Rodan, naturally that means Rodan makes an appearance in this movie. I’m not going to spoil the ending, but it’s pretty amazing how Godzilla defeats Mechagodzilla.

This week’s cheep and cheerful drink is back to my kombucha.

My Plum Biased Wrap is growing. The first skein of yarn is down to 10.01 grams of yarn. It looks small, but that’s still several movies worth of yarn to get through.

There’s still 131 days and 7 hours until the new Godzilla movie comes out. To help pass the time, we started a Godzilla puzzle.

Burt’s trying to decide if he should help or if we have it under control. I think he enjoys supervising the puzzles development.
