A life without adventure is likely to be unsatisfying, but a life in which adventure is allowed to take whatever form it will is sure to be short.

In 2016, I started this blog to help tame my massive amounts of knitting wips. As journeys often do, mine took me places I wasn’t expecting to go. There were brief stints in weaving and sewing along with some cooking and sidecar adventures. One radio active kitty and a plethora of kitty snuggles. And here I am a few years later, still casting on more projects than I finish.

I’ve caught the cast on fever! So far, I have four new projects and a few waiting in the wings to get on the needles. Not to mention, I’m still working my way through Craftvent 2018. Here’s my list so far:
- Holiday Reindeer Hat: I’ll be all set for the next holiday season. I think I might make this pattern for a few gifts.
- Holiday Drip Hat: This was a kit I received as a gift from the British Hubby.
- Holiday Wobble Cowl: Another kit from the British Hubby. Cashmere is amazingly soft!
- Tweedy Holiday: I love a good tweed.

No doubt this list will grow. With a little luck, I’ll even finish a few of these this year.
The British Hubby and I enjoyed a carb feast like carb addicts do over the holidays. Now we’re back to no carbs and no sugar. Last week, we had a lovely beef tenderloin wrapped in bacon. Even the kitties thought it was amazing.

Over the weekend, the kitties received their January meowbox.
Doesn’t Burt look like we caught him in the act of being naughty?
