In the PNW, we don’t often get rain in July and August. When we do, it’s often very localized. On Thursday, we had a proper rain shower. You can just make out the rain in the video below.

It was so exciting to have a chilly day! The rain has dropped the temperatures and cleaned the air if you suffer from pollen. Soup weather is right around the corner. I love a good pot of soup and a good pot of tea. Yum! I thought it was worth celebrating a few rain drops.

It’s always exciting to see how the kitties react to rain. Burt was pretty adventurous. He did an explore mostly staying dry.

Ernie didn’t make it any further than the edge of the table. Gracie refused to even venture outside. She choose to ignore the rain while staying safe and dry sleeping in her favorite morning sleep spots.
