Three Wheeled Picnic

Jobs fill your pocket, but adventure fills your soul.

Wow, where did the week go? I had planned to post this earlier in the week, but the day job has kept me busy. Sometimes you just need to stop staring at a digital screen. The British Hubby and I have had a few failed attempts at getting out on Ulysses this summer. The last time we road this happened. Between the weather, getting Ulysses fixed and The British Hubby may have accidentally let the tags expire, we just couldn’t get our act together. All those problems are solved. Now the bigger question is where can we go and comply with COVID regulations? Typically, we vacation or have several long weekends on the bike. This year, we’re taking a different approach. Picnic destinations. It gets us out of the house, and we don’t need to mix with too many people.

Our picnic was high end with knitting, tea and orange Pim’s.

Fortunately, we didn’t really need masks, but we had them just in case.

I named my dishcloth after Ulysses. My yarn is exactly the same color.

I’ve never thought of orange as my favorite color, but I certainly do surround myself with it. The sunflower, Ulysses and my dishcloth are all the same vibrant orange.
