I have to chuckle at the universe’s sense of humor. The days I have plenty of time for knitting on my Haunted Handwarmers, there hasn’t been much knitting required. Like Day 3 which was labeled: Surprise!

Day 3 did indeed include a surprise package. My nighttime photo didn’t show up the best. Here’s one in the cloudy rain below. The Day 3 surprise was a cute snap-up project or notions bag. It’s perfect for a small project like the Hunted Handwarmers or socks. It’s keeping all my dpn’s together at the moment while I wait for Day 4 and more yarn!

Ernie doesn’t look very excited for his new bat costume. Maybe he wants to be a slice of pizza this year?
