“We do have one lead, Minister. Property of a Lady.” ~ Bond
After last week’s slightly disappointing Bond movie, I wasn’t exactly looking forward to Friday movie night. Either Bond movie number 12 was better, or I’ve lowered my standards. Octopussy was better than I expected.

This movie was made in 1983. Neither the British Hubby nor myself was familiar with this Bond theme song. You can still hear the 80’s influences with the saxophones.
Octopussy started with a trojan horse style opening scene in Cuba. Maybe since this was the first Bond movie to take place in New Delhi, this plot was more interesting? It’s certainly the first time we’ve seen chase scenes with tennis rackets, three wheeled carts and exotic animals.

Or maybe it’s the train scenes, knife throwing, traveling circus or the female ninjas?

I suspect it might be this alligator disguise below. Now that’s one way to enter a Halloween party!

This movie had plenty of unique assigns and assignation attempts to make this movie well worth watching. If you haven’t seen this one, I highly recommend it for some Friday night brain out fun.

I forgot to get a photo of our keto pizza, but I did manage to get one of my new favorite stout concoctions. Big Block brewery is a local brewery celebrating their 5th birthday this month! They had to go cans at $5 each. The tap master suggested I mix the chocolate and peppermint porters to create a chocolate peppermint patty stout. Oh my, was it amazing! Local small businesses are suffering. This is one way I can help support the places I love and still keep healthy.

Last week, I realized we had no spooky or Halloween themed dishcloths. As my haunted handwarmers were paused on a surprise day, I got to work on a monster mayhem skull. Ernie’s helping me model what I have completed so far. Can you make out the image above?
How is your week going so far?
