Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not. Remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for. ~ Epicurus
Today was supposed to be cloudy, gray and rainy all day. I was completely surprised to wake up to sunshine! That’s right full on sunshine. The sun doesn’t often make an appearance in the PNW in February. It’s a complete change from what we had last week. Many places are still buried in snow or even without power. Texas is in a state of emergency due to the extreme weather. Sending warm thoughts and sunshine to any followers there or other places experiencing extreme weather right now.

Celebrating the sun seemed appropriate this week. Our planet does revolve around it after all. It’s always there even if we can’t see it. It makes survival possible via providing energy for plants to grow. We even sing about it. Check out the tune down below.
SkeinHerder’s Songs: Today I’ve mostly been listening to Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles. It’s amazing how sunshine can instantly lift or change ones mood.
How are you celebrating life this weekend? In case you missed the awesome close-up of Ernie yesterday, I’m going to post it again.

May Ernie bring you joy, snuggles and smiles.
I adore that Ernie close-up!
