Winter is not a season, it’s a celebration. ~ Anamika Mishra
Yet again, the British Hubby and I are housebound with the kitties. There is rain in the forecast which means at some point it is going to warm up. For now, I was able to see a stunning sunrise.

The view from the front lawn is slightly less stunning, but there’s no snow coming down currently. It is still rather cold.

The hummingbird feeders have thawed out. Burt and I managed to sneak a peak at one feeding this morning. Then a chickadee landed at the feeder we have stuck on the window. It was right by Ernie’s head. He was so excited!

It’s rather windy out today. Fingers crossed that means a warm front is coming through. Everyone is hoping the warm temperatures mean the snow will miraculously disappear. So far, I haven’t seen any evidence of the snow going away.

Yesterday, I had a good hunt through my needle/tool supply. Sadly, I did not have the correct supplies. Those are on order. I know you’re probably thinking if I would finish a project instead of casting on new ones all the time, I would have available needles. That was my first thought as well, but I’m learning a newish skill for me and didn’t actually own all the necessary items. More details to come next week.

Today at the day job, there was much snuggling.

And then there was more snuggling. It was a good day all and all.
If this weather is heading your way, keep warm.
I am looking forward to some snow, but hopefully not Sunday because I have a big drive!
