“Listen to them–the children of the night. What music they make!” Bram Stoker
It’s Friday again. I don’t know about you, but this week has been a bit of a blur. Celebrating life every Friday has become a constant source of stability for the British Hubby and myself. Our hunter gather brains are still wired for negative reinforcement. To combat this, we have to actively choose to be positive and look for the good in our surroundings. The year 2020, has been especially challenging for everyone.

This week we are celebrating with a deal the British Hubby found just in time for Monster Mayhem! The Universal Classic Monsters Collection. It’s a 30 film box set. It includes the collections of:
- Phantom of the Opera
- Creature from the Black Lagoon
- The Wolf Man
- The Mummy
- Frankenstein
- Dracula
- The Invisible Man
Some of these we’ve already seen and are already Monster Mayhem favorites. Others are making their viewing debut. I know these can be a bit hooky and somewhat formulaic, but they are full of black and white charm. For instance, I’ve seen numerous live performances of Phantom of the Opera, but never the original movie version.

I leave you with a snuggly photo of Burt napping during a storm.
Greetings from Idaho! I’m bored at work so I decided to browse your site on my iphone during lunch break. I enjoy the info you provide here and can’t wait to take a look when I get home. I’m amazed at how quick your blog loaded on my mobile .. I’m not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyways, awesome site!
