B is for baking beautiful bread.
Another Friday has rolled around. While the election news or lack of results, has made this week feel twice as long. We’re still celebrating life here! It’s no surprise I love making, eating and toasting bread. I love that warm yeasty aroma as dough proofs and bakes. It’s full of gluten goodness. It’s also why a carb free lifestyle is a challenge for me. Enter Kiss My Keto. Here is a company baking low carb or no carb breads. The British Hubby and I were skeptical at first, but we decided to try a variety pack to see. This week we’ve been trying the golden honey loaf.

The slices are small, but that’s okay since the fiber count is very high. Earlier in the week, I posted photos of our cheese on toast. You can’t see the toast, but it’s the honey loaf slices from Kiss My Keto. These aren’t as dry as the last brand we tried. All the recipes I’ve made, the bread is really crumbly. These stay together in the toaster. This is crucial since crumbly bread in a toaster sets off the smoke detectors. (The kitties hate it when smoke detectors go off.) These hit the spot for making sarnies and cheese on toast.

SkeinHerder’s Songs: Today I’m mostly listening to an album from an American funk band from the 70’s. Mothership Connection by Parliament. Talk about getting me in a great mood for the weekend! Get your groove on.
Hope your weekend is off to a great start. Try showing some compassion this weekend.
