And suddenly you know… It’s time start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.
It’s Friday; Friday Night! That means it’s time to celebrate life. We’ve got a few things to celebrate this week dear followers. First, I’ve decided to make a change in the day job. I’m not quite ready to announce what that is just yet, but I’m excited about new possibilities coming next.

Next, I thought it would be fun to share what happens every time I receive notification WIP has a new follower. Each and every email, I do a little happy dance and shout out to the British Hubby that the blog has a new follower! He responds, “Wooo HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” We celebrate each and everyone of you dear followers. Then, I checkout your bio if you have one. Dear followers, you then become part of our blog family.

Last but not least, we’re very excited to announce that Ruby has new growth! Last year, we started rhubarb from seeds. They quickly became, Ruby and Barb. It was questionable if they would survive the summer with my inexperienced gardening skills. We were excited when it was big enough to use, and even more excited when we decided it was ready for planting in the ground. This week, we noticed Ruby is growing again! To be quite honest, I gave this a 50/50 chance of surviving. This is really my first true gardening success story. It’s too early for us to use yet, but I don’t think it will be long before we have some fresh rhubarb. Rhubarb is so fiberous it’s almost carb free which means I can make berry rhubarb pie this spring! Let’s face it, life is about eating desserts.

Gracie says, “I’m too sexy for this cardboard.”
Have a fantastic weekend everyone!
Congrats to Ruby! I’ve only grown rhubarb from dividing plants. I wonder if it’ll grow in a container?

Yes, I think it would as long as you have a big enough container. We started in a container it was doing great last summer. It’s worth trying to see.
